Epicenter is a community for those who seek to challenge the way things are done, explore emerging technologies, create novel solutions, and accelerate business growth. With over 6 000 members across the Nordics with houses in Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki, Epicenter offers a hub for innovation, through office spaces, events and advisory services.
We at UrbanUrban have been working with Epicenter’s internal staff since 2021, acting as an external HR function and project lead on all things HR. We follow a set HR agenda and act as the main point of contact for any employee related matters where HR expertise is needed.
At the beginning of our collaboration, we gained understanding of Epicenter’s objectives in employee well-being and motivation as well as reviewed existing HR-related areas, such as the employee handbook, policies and HR activities. We then designed and structured a yearly HR calendar as well as updated and compiled the existing materials.
With the yearly HR calendar in place, we act as project lead and support to leaders in the planned HR activities, such as performance reviews and employee surveys. Through our ongoing partnership, we’re also able to provide analyses and recommendations on what actions to take to enhance employee well-being even further.
Lastly, as an external HR function, we’re also available to assist in any employee matters or ad hoc requests that may occur during the year.
